It’s time for Back to School folks! And you know what that means? Time to break out the washi tape for fun Back to School projects. Right? I’m not the only one thinking that, right? Well I shared my first Back to School project over at A Night Owl this weekend and guess what – there’s washi! Shocking – I know. But be sure to head over to check out some fabulous Back to School projects AND a $200 Giftcard Giveaway to your choice of Jo-Ann’s or Home Depot!
But I wanted to share a couple of the aspects of that project with you here on The Washi Blog. First up was the easiest, cutest, washi tape magnets!
I simply cut a strip of adhesive magnet, roughed up one end and applied washi tape right on top! When added to the memo board they look just so darn cute! Maybe it has something to do with that little cutie on the bike? Yah, he’s mine.
Second up were some Clothespin Washi Tape Magnets! I wanted to add a couple of clothespins to the memo board to hold pieces of paper, notes, or anything else a teacher might want to add. A cute version of post-its, if you will!
Here I simply added a little washi on top of the clothespin and trimmed off the extra. I then snipped some adhesive magnetic strips to adhere to the back. Voila!
Easy peasy and a cute Chalkboard Magnetic Teacher Memo Board was created! What do you think? If you have a fun Back to School washi tape project – be sure to share it with us so we can feature YOU here at The Washi Blog! Keep calm and washi on, friends!
