Washi Tape Party Spoons and Sticks

It’s no secret that washi tape can add life to just about anything – that includes party supplies! In fact, we have a whole category dedicated to Washi Party because I really have seen it used in many fun ways at parties, from place cards to greeting cards!

So this past week I had the awesome opportunity to host a party with the new party line by Martha Stewart, called MarthaCelebrations! The products are fabulous, let me tell you – and make throwing a party so much simpler. Don’t get me wrong, I love to DIY party goodies, but sometimes it’s nice just to focus on a few DIY items rather than the whole party!  In fact, before I get too far along, let me tell you quickly that through June 14th, you can head over to the MS Living #LetsCelebrate Pin Party Board and repin your favorite images with the #letscelebrate hashtag for the opportunity to win YOUR OWN celebration in a box! AND the party host with the most total repins will win a feature on MarthaStewart.com and a JCP gift card (nudge, nudge)! You can find our pins here if you want to repin to WIN: Easy Elegant Dinner Ideas | Dessert Table Ideas | Dinner Table Settings | Ice Cream Bar Ideas | Drink Station Ideas.

Ok, back to the party, and oh yah, the WASHI. Since so much of the party was taken care of by the MarthaCelebrations supplies, I was able to add a few fun touches of washi to bring things together. First up, we created a fun dessert table of sweets and goodies! I made some fancy Oreo pops with Oreos dipped in white candy melts and a sprinkling of white pearl sprinkles. But for the finishing touch, I stuck in appetizer picks with washi wrapped around the ends! Just a little change, but I think they turned out so cute!

We also included a little Ice Cream Bar with our Dessert Table. It turned out so cute! We had mini trifle bowls of different ice cream toppings and cute paper treat cups with wooden spoons. And that’s where we added a little more washi – to the wooden spoons! Again so simple, but sometimes the little things add so much, don’t you think?

Again, if you like any of these ideas, feel free to Repin them for your chance to win – through this Friday: Easy Elegant Dinner Ideas | Dessert Table Ideas | Dinner Table Settings | Ice Cream Bar Ideas | Drink Station Ideas.
